The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "Aman", one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, will organize tomorrow a virtual awareness workshop entitled (The Three Secrets to Establishing a Safe Family), which will be broadcast on the Instagram platform of the center's accounts on social media platforms, where it will be presented by Dr. Salam Edlby Sebai, a specialist in community education sciences.

The workshop aims to raise awareness of the educational and psychological foundations of the family life approach and the effective education of children, and to raise awareness among parents by providing educational assistance and advice to follow the sound and practical education of children, and to provide them with the value of safety by maintaining their psychological, physical and emotional health.

The workshop will include several axes, where it will address the treatment of parental intolerance for a safe upbringing of children and the four foundations of a healthy self-represented in trust, safety, self-worth, passion and communication, and it will also review some examples of how parents deal with their children.

In this context, Mrs. Bakhita Al-Ghayathin, Acting Director of the Community Awareness Department at Aman Center, emphasized that the center's main role is to contribute to community awareness to reduce domestic violence. Therefore, we, as a team in the Department of Community Awareness, are keen to implement several awareness-raising, educational and informative workshops for different segments of the public. Awareness is a prevention of falling into any problem, and an approach to acquiring new information and identifying the proper methods of education, especially related to the target groups of Aman Center from women and children and victims of violence and family disintegration.

For her part, Dr. Salam Sebaei affirmed her keenness to raise and address such issues, as raising awareness of parents on issues related to education is an essential point. It must be focused on from time to time, as there are many scientific studies that mention that there are many sound and modern methods of education, which are the basis for forming a safe family away from disputes.

It is worth noting that the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "Aman" seeks to raise awareness and educate about enhancing the protection and rehabilitation of women and children in the State of Qatar. the society, where the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center “Aman" was established in 2013, with the aim of protecting and rehabilitating women and children's victims of violence and family disintegration and reintegrating them into society. The center operates under the supervision of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which in turn is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and the Family.
